Bulgarie: Un changement que l'Europe ne doit pas sousestimer 9/7 [FR]

Pour la troisième fois depuis 1989, les électeurs bulgares ont exprimé leur ralbol massif de la classe politique du pays. Le parti GERB, (sigle bulgare pour "Citoyens pour le Développement européen de la Bulgarie"), mené par le maire de la capitale Sofia, Boiko Borissov, a obtenu 116 des 240 sièges au parlement monocaméral, le 5 juillet dernier, en récoltant 39,71% du vote.

Ce résultat était prévisible depuis les élections au parlement européen du mois dernier. Avec un taux de participation relativement très élevé, et malgré l'achat local de votes par certains représentants de la majorité sortante, malgré le "tourisme électoral" et malgré le vote ethnique de la minorité turque, pour la troisième fois en vingt ans, les élections nationales ont chassé du pouvoir une classe de dirigeants qui semblait inamovible.
En 1990, la gérontocratie autour du leader communiste historique Todor Zhivkov a été remplacée par un version "light" de l'ancienne élite politique, réunie dans le Parti Socialiste Bulgare (BSP). Onze années plus tard, marquées de crises économiques, développements mafieux et émigration massive vers l'Occident, l'ancien roi éphémère Simeon a été porté par l'électorat à la présidence du conseil des ministres (2001). Mais il a vite déçu. Le BSP a pu organiser à nouveau une majorité. Majorité qui a été battue le 5 juillet dernier.

Een beschaving die zichzelf verzorgt 9201 [NL]

Wat ik gisteren allemaal schreef over haatzaaiers en hun rol bij het fataal activeren van angst en haat, dat heb ik natuurlijk van niemand vreemd. Ik las een reactie van Anne-Ruth Wertheim op de fatale combinatie van autoritatieve "woorden" en het massale "doen". Schijnbaar onverbonden. Maar in werkelijkheid kan het één niet zonder het ander.

Daarvoor gaan we het eerst hebben over Cultuur

De filosofie en de religie zijn uitingen van "cultuur". Een woord dat afstamt van "colere", Latijn voor het verbouwen van gewassen. Eerst zaaien, dan wieden, vervolgens oogsten.

Het gaat over de disciplinering van (voedsel-) gewassen, die voordien in het wild geplukt en verzameld werden. Dat proces is iets wat uitstijgt boven het dierlijke en instinctmatige. Het vormt een basis voor beschaving: collectieve rituelen en afspraken, die maken, dat we met mes en vork eten, netjes onze beurt afwachten aan tafel, handel drijven in plaats van goederen te komen roven, geen slaven meer houden, maar ze alleen maar uitbuiten via het marktmechanisme, enzovoort.

Blog Awards 2008 for Europe is biased by (neo) conservatives 09.01 [EN]

At the annual 2008 voting for the weblog awards, category 'Europe (non-UK)', you will find only conservative weblogs, and some folkloristic blogs to fill the void. The blog that is leading at this point, links to "Politically Incorrect", an infect German blog, that avoided supervision by German authorities by moving to an American server. A (neo) conservative cabal took hold of (at least) some categories of the 2008 weblog awards. It is of no use to cast your vote in the "Europe" category. It has to be boycotted, this year. What happended?

In two of the 48 categories of the weblog awards that I took a look at and that are submitted to a vote actually, (neo)conservatives managed to propose a selection, that is poised to get a blog of their obedience as the winner.

Als Ulfkotte vorigen Freitagabend bei der SWR nochmals sein überprüftes antiislamisches Theater aufführen konnte, gab es ein Moment, wo des Udos Freunde und Feinde gleichermassen vor dem Bildschirm erstarrten.

War der Udo dann wirklich mal SELBST Muslim gewesen?
