Es ist selbstverständlich unmöglich, um alles was Sie täglich veröffentlichen in "Akte Islam" zu überprüfen. Aber, wenn Sie wieder etwas Skandalöses meinen entdeckt zu haben bei mir in der Nähe, in Brüssel, überfällt mich die unaufhaltsame Neigung, mehr darüber auszufinden. Ich bitte um Verzeihung, dass ich Ihnen nicht immer ohne Weiteres glauben kann. Ich bin nur ein Gutmensch, ein softer Dhimmi mit multikulturellem Hintergrunde.

Heute las ich Ihren Posten vom 12. oder 13. Dezember (Sie möchten bitte Ihren Posten datieren) in Akte Islam über das Weihnachtsverbot im brüsseler Justizpalast:

Sie referieren an Artikeln in den populistischen Sensationszeitungen La Dernière Heure (frz.) und Het Laatste Nieuws (niederl.) des 12. Dezembers. Gestern, 17. Dezember, habe ich eine kleine Spaziergang gemacht zum Palast. Und da muss ich Ihnen doch wirklich enttäuschen: Das unmässig grosse Gebäude, dessen Architekten, Poelaert, nach dreissig Jahren Bau-Schmerzen, wahnsinnig geworden ist, ist voll Weihnachtsschmuck! Tannenkränze, Guirlanden, glitternde Lichtletten - ja, eigentlich Alles was ein standfester Verteidiger der judeo-christlichen Werten (mit germanischen Wurzeln - das Licht- oder Sonnenwende-Fest) nur begehren mag, war üppig anwesend...

Da fragte ich mich: warum waren Sie so sicher, dass es sich hier um einen neuen Unterwerfung an den Muslimen gehandelt habe? Sie wissen vielleicht nicht, dass Brüssel eine lange Geschichte hat von harten Streit zwischen die katholische Kirche und ihren Anhängern in der Grossbourgeoisie mit der Mehrheit dieser mächtigen Kategorie, die vielmehr antiklerikal gesinnt ist, und, oft als Freimaurer handelnd, ziemlich rücksichtslos vorzugehen gewöhnt sind gegen Alles was nach "Papen" riecht.

So hat man, zum Beispiel, vor etwa 90 Jahren, absichtlich, die Strasse in Brüssel-Ixelles die nach einer katholischen Kirche führt, "Darwinstrasse" genannt. In meiner brüsseler Gemeinde, Sankt-Gillis, sind die vom Stadtrat jährlich in der Öffentlichkeit angestellte Weihnachtsparaphernalia seit dem jahre 1890 immer frei von christlichen Symbolen, wie Kreuze und Krippen, gewesen. In der brüsseler Gemeinde "Brüssel", dagegen, (es gibt bei uns ja 19 Gemeinde, und Brüssel-Stadt ist nur eine davon) dagegen, gab es, auf dem Zentralplatze "Grote Markt" vor zwei Jahren eine Freiluftausstellung von mehreren Dutzenden Weihnachtsscheunen, komplett mit Kinderwiege, Hirten und drei Weisen aus Arabien. Diese antimuslimische Provokation geschah unter Verantwortung des von Ihnen so geschmähten Bürgermeister Thielemans!

Ich gestatte, es ist schwierig, um dieses Land ein Wenig zu verstehen. Sie haben dabei auch Ihren Erfahrungen gemacht in August/September dieses Jahres! Vorsicht, so dachte ich, würde auch bei Ihnen den Vorrang gehabt haben. nicht nochmals sich verwirren im belgischen Irrwegennetze!

Aber sie haben kein Glück, wenn Ihre Mission Sie nach Belgien führt. Meine Analyse von Dasjenige, was sich in Wirklichkeit zugetragen hat, wird bestätigt von folgendem Berichte in Het Laatste Nieuws des 14. Dezembers:

"Weihnachtsschmuck bleibt ohne Weiteres stehen im brüsseler Justizpalast" - Die sozialistische Justizministerin, aus Lüttich, laïzistisch, hat auf Grund der traditionellen religiösen Neutralitätsprinzipien, die unmittelbar aus der Aufklärung kommen, klerikalen Ausschweifungen beim Weihnachtsschmuck im Palast wegnehmen lassen. Wieder ist Ihnen ein "Canard" unterlaufen...

Und dann habe ich mir nochmals gefragt: Was heisst es eigentlich, dass in der Gründungsversammlung, dieses Frühjahr, in Bonn, vor Ihrer Verein "Pax Europa", Sie so mächtig plädiert haben für Anerkennung der Aufklärung als Teil der judeo-christlichen kulturellen Erbschaft Europas? Was hier in Brüssel vor sich gegangen ist, ist doch nichts anderes als das Durchsetzen von, von Ihnen auch anerkannten, Werten der europäischen Kultur? Oder gibt es, klammheimlich, doch eine katholische Leit-Kultur im Denken der Pax-Europeanern?

Wie das auch sein mag, ich möchte doch gerne ihre Rektifikation (oder wie heisst das Deutsch?) lesen in "Akte Islam". Weil Sie anscheinend die belgische Presse lesen, kann das Bericht in "Het Laatste Nieuws" des 14. Dezember Ihnen nicht entgangen sein. Oder lesen Sie nichts selbst die Presse, doch stützen Sie sich auf einem Presse-Büro? Sie sollten doch vorsichtig sein mit Ihren Quellen! Solche Büros sind durchsetzt vom Geheimagenten, die öfters nur Agitation schüren möchten, und Desinformationen verbreiten. Möglicherweise, hat ein CIA- oder ein Mossad-Agent Ihnen die sachen zugeschickt, um Sie vor der Öffentlichkeit als Lügner vorzustellen!

Ja, es wäre gut denkbar das, Sie, sowohl als ich, in dieser Angelegenheit ferngesteuert geworden sind von Agenten die direkt oder indirekt von der Muslimbrüderschaft bezahlt werden...

3. Ulfkotte allows casher meat as long as the German Jews do not become too numerous (again) [EN]

haGalil is the largest German-language Jewish on-line publication. It had more than 18 million visitors in the year 2006.

The excellent German blog "Politisch Korrekt" has a post on December 15, 2007 (Juden vs PI und Ulfkotte), that remembers a July 8, 2007 article in haGalil (Bloggen fürs Abendland) by Alexander Hasgall of the tachles Swiss Jewish weekly.

Hasgall concentrates on two of the German hate-blogs against Muslims, "Politically Incorrect" (PI, Stephan Herre), and "Akte Islam" (AI, Udo Ulfkotte). The author states, that, in spite of PI's pro-Israeli references and AI's "judeo-christian values", their negative agitation is dangerous, not only for Muslims, but also for Jews.

Ritual Slaughtering: Only permitted, if your number is under the Ulfkotte tolerance-limit...
Leaving aside the parts about PI ("Politisch Korrekt", above mentioned, and, for instance, the satirical "Politically Impotent" do a fine job against it), here is something more about Ulfkotte and his views on Jewish culture and traditions from the mentioned article in the Jewish German press:

Auch der dezidierte Kampf gegen das von Muslimen und Juden praktizierte Schächten irritiert. [..] Auch auf [AI] wird zuweilen heftig gegen die rituellen Schlachtungen Stimmung gemacht. Angefragt, ob er damit nicht Argumente aus antisemitischen Kreisen aufgreife, erklärt Ulfkotte, dass er "aus Tierschutzgründen" das Schächten grundsätzlich ablehne. Jedoch unterscheide er zwischen dem Schächten bei Juden und dem Schächten bei Muslimen. Juden würden "nicht tonnenweise geschächtetes Fleisch einführen" und auch nicht "undeklariert in Dönerbuden verkaufen".
Da stellt sich die Frage, wie Ulfkotte reagieren würde, sollte die Zahl koscher essender Juden in Deutschland anwachsen und mehr koscheres Fleisch importiert werden.

Translation:

The consequent denunciation of Muslim and Jewish slaughter traditions is irritating also. [..] On [Akte Islam] too, it happens regularly that public opinion is roused against ritual slaughtering. On the question, if he does not follow anti-semitic argumentation in doing so, Ulfkotte said, that he is a principled opponent of animal-slaughtering because of his "convictions about the protection of animals". But he makes a distinction between slaughtering by Jews and slaughtering by Muslims. Jews are not in a position "to import slaughtered meat by the tons" and do not "sell it uncontrolled in Döner-shops".
This makes us wonder, how Ulfkotte would react, if and when the number of casher eating Jews in Germany would grow and more casher meat will have to be imported...

A Passionate Defender of German Pork Meat against the Intrusion of Islamic Goats and Sheep...
We all know the reason, why there are not so many Jewish people left in Germany (and in Austria).
"Demographically", the German Jewish population number is apparently, thanks to the Nazis, under the Ulfkotte-defined limits for intolerance.
We have to do, here, with a typical Ulfkottean position. An untenable position, as we will see.
He tries to avoid being seen as an anti-semite, by invoking "civilized" principles (animal protection) for his venomous hate-mongering on the ritual slaughter issue. But are pigs not animals? Is the pork-holocaust that daily happens in Germany and in the countries from which it imports that kind of meat, not about "tons" of meat and tortured animals, who have, during their whole miserable life, often never seen the sun or a green meadow?
Ulfkotte shared the outrage at "PI", when German sweets producer Haribo decided (May 2007) to substitute pork fat in some of their products, by other animal fat that is not forbidden for Muslims and Jews.
Ulfkotte turns a xenophobic gut-reaction (against ritual slaughtering) into a passionate defense of the ur-German swine against the intrusion of sheep and goats in the wake of the Muslim invasion.

haGalil said it this way:

Demgegenüber werden im Blog diffuse christlich-jüdische Werte des Abendlandes vertreten, oft auf fast skurrile Art und Weise: So wurdedie Produktion von schweinefleischfreien Gummibärchen durch den Süsswarenhersteller Haribo auf politicallyincorrect.de als ein "Unterwerfen" gegenüber dem Islam interpretiert und es wurde zu Protestschreiben an Haribo aufgefordert. Gummibärchen mit Schweinegelatine sollen, folgt man der Logik der Autoren, die jüdisch-christlich-abendländische Kultur symbolisieren.

Summary:

In contrast to this, Chistian-Jewish values of the West are en vogue on the blog (PI), often in a more or less scurrilous way: [The production of pork-free sweets by Haribo, HR] was interpreted on PI as a "submission" to Islam [..]. Sweet little bears with porky gelatin, would, in the logic of the blog-authors, symobilise the Jewish-Christian Western culture.

Ridiculous, but also dangerous...
It is all ridiculous. We had already some good laughs with Ulfkotte, when he symbolized Muslim aggression with an image stolen from a violent American subculture-movie. And also, when he tried to set up a "gang-shop" with Judeo-Christian hate-shirts and bags, for the thousands of young Ulfkotte-fans he imagined that were going to the Brussels September 11 anti-Eurabia Manifestation he tried to dominate against his friends from SIOE and of the Belgian right wing Flemish chauvinist party Vlaams Belang.
But the context of the actions of Dr. Udo Ulfkotte is too serious, to keep on laughing. Ulfkotte combines his hate-mongering against Islam with juridical harassing of German bloggers, in an effort to silence them. So he is, in my opinion, a danger to freedom of expression on the Web.

Plays into the Hands of Radical Islamists - Intentionally?
And his conscious- ,or unconscious-, caricaturisation of the "serious" populists and white supremacists, makes him a vector of the following:

Grundsätzlich befürchtet Dantschke*), dass die Rhetorik solcher Blogs den Islamisten letztlich zuarbeite und sie stärke. Es werde darin eine homogene muslimische Gemeinschaft gezeichnet und diese durch zahlreiche Beispiele pauschal kriminalisiert. Dies ermögliche es islamistischen Organisationen wiederum, die These des "Kampfes der Kulturen" zu propagieren, nach welcher der Islam dem Westen nach dem Kalten Krieg als neues Feindbild In Sachen westliche "Welteroberung" diene. Auch bestärke es Islamisten in ihrer Erklärung, sie seien die "Verteidiger der Interessen der Muslime".

Translation:

Basically, Dantschke*) fears, that the rhetorics of this kind of blogs helps and invigorates the Islamists in the end. An image of a homogeneous Muslim community is suggested and that community is being undistinctively criminalized by way of numerous examples. Islamist organizations, then, are being facilitated in their propaganda of the thesis of the "Clash Of Civilizations", that implies that the Islam serves the West as a new "Empire Of Evil" after the Cold War within the context of a Western world domination. It reinforces also the Islamist claim, that they are the sole "defenders of Muslims' interests".

However, shouldn't we eliminate the possibility, that Ulfkotte's hate-mongering is UNconscious?
In the Mossad-Sarkozy hoax we wrote about two days ago, he implies, that the Mossad and Sarkozy aimed at exactly the above effect!

Forcing themselves on Israel and on Jews
It is a common phenomenon, that hate-mongers like Ulfkotte, try to force themselves on Israel (and on the Jews) as their greatest allies in a world of anti-Semites and Arabophiles. Filip Dewinter, leader of the Vlaams Belang, went in 2004 to Israel and got some Antwerp Jews to join his racist movement. PI has some Israelian correspondents. American Christian Hate-Islam meetings against the Islamic headscarf, often feature an ex-American Jewish lady, now a convinced colonist on Palestinian soil, who wears a gigantic wig, as prescribed by Jewish Orthodox law for married women...

In the above example of slaughtering, we have seen, how thin and how opportunist the line is, between tolerating, even "admiring", cultural and religious usages, and discriminatory agaitation against them. For Ulfkotte, it is a question of numbers, he says. The moment, he judges, that a "demographical unbalance" comes into being, anything should be allowed in agitation against the intruders. But, for the time being, they try to mislead the Jews with "scurrilous" reasonings.

How "Functional Principles" are Born...
Ajaan Hirsi Ali, who, in contrast to Ulfkotte, has developed a theory about the fundamental evilness of Muslims, all Muslims, and particularly the "moderate" people among them, made a proposal, in 2003, in Dutch Parliament, to forbid "genital mutilation" of women, which seems all right to me, but at the same time, of the Islamic prescription about the male circumcision. She had, otherwise than Ulfkotte, no excuse by some unrelated (and pretended) principle, and was embarrassed by hostile Jewish comments against that plan. When she realized, that in the USA, circumcision is very common, also among non-Jews, she was quick to abandon her principles in so far as they concerned male circumcision...

haGalil has the last word:

Auch der Umstand, dass der Holocaust von den meisten selbsternannten Kämpfern gegen Antisemitismus zumeist nur dann thematisiert wird, wenn er in den Zusammenhang mit einer muslimischen Mitschuld gebracht werden kann, stimmt nachdenklich. Schliesslich erinnert dies an altbekannte Formen von Schuldabwehr: Wer mit dem Finger auf andere zeigt, muss sich nicht mit der eigenen Vergangenheit beschäftigen. Dass nicht nur Ulfkotte, sondern auch der Gründer von politicallyincorrect.de Stefan Herre in neorechten Postillen wie "Junge Freiheit" publiziert, erstaunt daher nicht.

Translation:

It is also a matter for reflexion, that the Holocaust is (mostly) only mentioned by the self-appointed warriors against Anti-Semitism, when it can be related to any Muslim co responsibility. It makes one remember some well known incidents of guilt-denial: Who points his finger to others, may waive the discussion of his own history. The fact that not only Ulfkotte, but also Stefan Herre of PI, publish articles in neo-right-wing pamphlets like "Junge Freiheit", is therefore no surprise to us."

2. Ulfkotte believes that Sarkozy won the French Presidency through a Jewish Conspiracy [EN]

It is hard to believe your eyes ,when you get to page 57 of the "Mossad" chapter of Ulfkotte's 2006 book about the world's secret services (Der Krieg im Dunkeln - Die wahre Macht der Geheimdienste, Eichborn, Frankfurt/Main, February 2006).  Ulfkotte will let us believe, that a Jewish conspiracy between the Mossad and Sarkozy, who has some Jewish roots, manipulated the French presidential elections which were scheduled for May 2007.

The French Suburbs in November 2005 

In November 2005, violent rebellions were shaking French suburbs. Young immigrants were confronting the police. Arson, cars in flames, deaths, wounded and mass arrests.  French Minister of the Interior at that time, was Nicolas Sarkozy, who vowed to "clean up that mess with a Kärcher" (a powerful cleaning machine). Half of French citizenry applauded, the other half was disgusted. The latter half was the majority, at that moment still clinging  to Socialist presidential candidate Ségolène Royal.

I happen to know somewhat intimately, for more than 35 years, the French suburbs. It is my work. Immigrants from a number of countries of Africa, of the Caribbean and of Asia are stacked in apartment buildings, far from downtown life, and far from accessible facilities for education, culture and work. Roughly 60% are from Islamic origins, the others are Christians or something else. In another country, such a situation would have lead to much more problems than it has done in France. Most inhabitants of those  modern slums are proud, to be French, or to be in a position to become French.

The French Nation-State ideology, like its American counterpart, is very powerful and inviting to civil participation. Motives for rebellion are not rooted in a nostalgia for life in an imaginary lost home country, like we know them in Germany, Belgium of Holland, but in frustrations about NOT being accepted in the new fatherland, France.

That was, what that rebellion was about. And in spite of xenophobic conservative French opinion, Sarkozy and his Government sought and found solutions for integration of the rebels.  I am not the first one to say that it works. I have seen too many frustrated efforts in that sense. But the French minorities are not secessionists. Every opportunity to become French, they will welcome. No doubt whatsoever, that that series of riots was authentic and not manipulated. Neither by Islamists, nor by the Mossad, as Ulfkotte would like us to believe.

Mossad Agents Organised the Riots? 

Listen to what our secret services freak has to say about the November 2005 events  in France:

"Die Abteilungen [des Mossads, HR] Metsada [zuständig etwa für Sabotage und verdeckte Attentate] und LAP [Psychologische Kriegsführung , beispielsweise tendenziöse Berichterstattung in den Medien zu erzeugen und die mit Israel sympathisierenden Journbalisten zu instruieren] wurden zum Beispiel während der schweren Unruhen in Frankreich im November 2005 gemainsam aktiv. In den Städten [Folgt eine reihe von frz. Städten, HR] schürten sie über Agents-Provokateurs die Unruhen, die sich bald auch über [folgt eine neue Reihen von Stadtnahmen, HR] ausbreiteten."

Translation:

"The departments [of the Mossad, HR] Messada [responsible for sabotage and for hidden killings] and LAP [psychological warfare, for instance biased reporting in the media, and giving instructions to reporters who sympathize with Israel] went into action together,  during the heavy disturbances in France in November 2005. In the cities [Follows a long list of French cities, HR] they ignited with agents-provocateurs the disturbances, that spread soon also to [Follows another list of French city names, HR]."

Ulfkotte:

"Während die Medien die vom Mossad lancierten Geschichte von einer spontanen Erhebung sozial schwacher Einwanderer aus den Vorstädten in der Öffentlichkeit verbreiteten, beobachtete man in westlichen Geheimdienstkreisen schon seit langem die Bemühungen des Mossad, in Frankreich, das seit Jahrzehnten proarabisch ausgerichtet ist, eine anti-arabische und antimuslimische Stimmung zu schüren. Britische und deutsche Nachrichtendienstler berichteten mir in November 2005 übereinstimmend, dass man in den genannten Städten in einigen Fällen im Hintergrund auf israelischee Agents Provocateurs gestopssen sei. Es sei aber unklar, ob der Mossad  die Erhebungen […] ursprünglich auch initiiert, oder aber nach deren Ausbruch nur insgeheim weiter geschürt habe"

Translation:

"While the media served to the public the Mossad-invented story of a spontaneous movement by socially crippled immigrants from the suburbs, some occidental secret services observed since long the efforts by the Mossad in France, a country that has a long history of pro-Arabic policies, to provoke an anti-Arabic and anti-Muslim surge. British and German Secret Service men  reported to me in November 2005, so I could cross-check, that in the [French] cities mentioned here, in some cases, in the background, they got into Israeli Agents-Provocateurs. It is, however, not evident, if the Mossad has initiated the rebellions at the start, or that he has merely inflamed them secretly, once they happened."

Ulfkotte explains:

"Nach Angaben eines Gesprächspartners von MI6 verfolgt Israel mit solchen Aktionen das Ziel, Muslime in der öffentlichen Meinung generell als unberechenbare Bedrohung erscheinen zu lassen, die nicht integrationsfähig seien.

 Translation:

"As an Agent of [British] MI6 told me, Israel has the objective, in executing those actions, to have the  public opinion believe, that Muslims are generally unreliable and not apt to integrate."

Ulfkotte stresses that  "eine geschickt agierenden Psy-Op Truppe" can do everything in nowadays' Europe, to launce a riot within a short lapse of time, and create an enormous rebellion. And, as a supreme proof, he writes (p 57):

"Es ist wohl kein Zufall, dass Nicolas Sarkozy aus einer Familie jüdischen Glaubens stammt und wirklich ohne Absicht mit seinen provozierenden Worten die Stimmung gegen eine bestimmte Bevölkerungsgruppe in Frankreich schürte."

Translation:

"It is perhaps no accident, that Nicolas Sarkozy comes from a Jewish family and that he,  really without meaning to do so, ignited with his provocative words the feelings of the common French against a certain part of the French population."

A Jewish Grandfather makes Sarkozy part of a Jewish Conspiracy!? 

Well. Judge for yourself. Hiding behind unnamed German and British, ipso facto unverifiable -, Secret-Service sources, Ulfkotte pretends here not less than that Sarkozy, because of his Jewish grandfather or great-grandfather [from the Salonica Ladino Jewish community that existed there from 1492 to 1944, when it was exterminated by Eichmann (Source: Mark Mazower: Salonica, city of Ghosts: Christians Muslim and Jews, 1430-1950, London, 2005), HR] was working hand in hand with the Mossad in November 2005, in order to provoke anti-Muslim feelings among the French!

The Ulfkotte proposition is utterly ridiculous. More than 20% of the French electorate vote for Le Pen, who leads a party that is not only anti-Semitic but also anti-Islamic. Would Sarkozy, if he wished an anti-Islamic upsurge in France, need some Israeli  agents for that? Could French public opinion, fed daily by national television networks who do a good journalistic job, be misled by a handful of Mossad agents-provocateurs and some journalists bought by them? Who could reasonably doubt the spontaneousness and the reality of the hopeless situation of the people who went rioting?

In Udopia, secret brotherhoods rule 

But the venom is in the last paragraph: 'It is "no accident" that Sarkozy has a Jewish forefather'. In other words: Jews, even quarter-Jews who grow up as Hungarian lesser nobles and anticommunist emigrants, are always conspiring with other Jews… Not a shadow of proof. For Ulfkotte, the fact that among Nicolas Sarkozy's forefathers there is one, who was a Salonica Rabbi, and at home in Istanbul, where he sent his sons to the French Lycée, is enough, to invent a worldwide Jewish conspiracy!

Is this racism? Maybe yes, maybe no. The proposition provokes racist prejudices amongst an uninstructed public, that is for sure. But that may not have been Ulfkotte's intention. To him, history is made, in the end, by secret manipulations, by misleading public opinion through psychological warfare. In 2005, the Ariel Sharon Government was pushing Jewish Frenchmen to emigrate to Israel, exaggerating the dangers, Jewish communities in France incurred from anti-Semitism and Islamist terrorism. But that is quite another thing than an effort to change French public opinion as a whole. In fact, no anti-Jewish incidents are known to have happened during the November 2005 riots.

As Ulfkotte seems to believe, that politics are made by élites, who act together and against each other along ethnic, racial or business lines, there is some "logic" in his madness. He seems perfectly unable, to see, that a "social" uprising mostly has its own roots and cannot ne "steered".  There MUST be some Secret Service behind the screens! Therefore: "It is the Jews, again!"

Love-Hate Relation with the Mossad and the Jews 

Reading Ulfkotte's latest Secret Services book, one is struck by the hate-love relation he has to the Mossad. He admires the "rücksichtslose" ways in which it acts. But at the same time, he shares the contempt and the jealousy, other secret-services have developed against the small elite force. The Mossad do not abide by the rules, the unwritten rules of, for instance, a British service. That becomes very clear in the novel "Gencode "J" that Ulfkotte wrote in 2001. We will come back to that book, but one incident, the novelist invents, struck me in this context.

 A sympathetic German businessman has developed a software program that the Mossad absolutely wants to steal. A murder intrigue by a Mossad faction, situated in Egypt (Luxor), against the man, fails. Then, Ulfkotte makes the Mossad approach the Jewish, completely secular, wife of the businessman, demanding from her, as a Jewess, to betray her husband.  She says "no", of course. But our Secret Services expert should know, that that is absolutely never the way, Israeli services operate. Such an imagination only could only occur to somebody, who believes, that ethnic and cultural links are  primordial and that people make choices, not from conviction, but from gut feelings.

Hate-Mongering against a "Culture" 

This belief also underpins also Ulfkotte's agitation against everything Islam in a blog, called "Akte Islam". Out of an unconscious contempt for his audience, he produces a daily dose of so-called "news facts" that have in common, that Muslims play a despicable role in them. Many of them are completely or partially untrue, exaggerated or truncated. In the accompanying illustrations, Muslims (or people who are considered as such, for instance in the "chain-saw" article I wrote about) are masked as criminals. Is that "racism"? No, Muslims come from different races. But it is the way, Ulfkotte thinks, that he may create an exacerbated "us" against "them" feeling.

That boils down to the discrimination and hate-mongering, the lawmakers have wanted to eradicate, when they voted laws against discrimination on the basis of race, religion or gender. Discrimination and hate-mongering against a "culture" or a "civilization" is a bad-lawyers' way to avoid the law. Or, for that matter, saying that it is a problem of "demography", as if that statistics-based science judges about "good" or "bad" composition of a population (!). The worldwide respected French Islam-expert Olivier Roy, for instance, has called another French professor (Robert Redeker) a "racist" for much less than Ulfkotte produces daily in his Blog ("Esprit", November 2006).  And Roy has not been sued.

Does Ulfkotte think, that hate-mongering is permitted, when it is a "Psy-Op"? 

Ulfkotte's AgitProp  is too amateuristic, to compare it to the Stürmer agitation against the Jews in Nazi times. But there is a "Psy-Op"-intention behind it, that is perhaps to be taken seriously, as it has much to do with Ulfkotte's apparent obsession with showing to the real Secret Services, how they have to act against the Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy that is turning Europe into an Eurabia, with the Sharia as Law. Ulfkotte thinks, that those services intentionally neglect the work they should do in his eyes, infiltrated as they are by MB agents, lead by political Dhimmis and their journalistic lackeys.

 

Ulfkotte becomes a nuisance for serious white supremacists 

The serious right-wing extremist anti-Muslims and white chauvinists feel more and more uneasy with Ulfkotte as a clown in their midst. Their fierce pro-Israel  stand, for instance, makes it difficult for them, to tolerate Ulfkotte's wild anti-Jewish ramblings. The "Akte-Islam" Blog is probably seen by them as a bad copy, worse: a caricature, of the much more successful "Politically Incorrect" Blog. How and why Ulfkotte was not present at the European anti-Eurabia Conference in Brussels, October 18/19, will be a subject for a next post in this series.

Conclusion: Conspiracies everywhere 

What to make of all this? Taking Ulfkotte's understanding of another group, another "culture", than the Muslims he is presently diabolizing, helped to see clearer into his ways of thinking about Psychological Operations (PsyOps). It may be, that he sincerely believes, that "the real power" is in the hands of Secret Services. He may also be honestly outraged, that the Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy he thinks that he has discovered, is not being crushed by the only actors and the only methods he can imagine: "Hass schüren" (hatemongering)  by way of the Psy-Op- and Disinformation - Departments of the Secret Services.

He thinks that this is because of another conspiracy, an Islamist-Left cabal that is networked over all Europe and supported by some other Secret Services (In Germany, e.g., the Information Service of the Army and/or the Verfassungsschutz).

Although the political party he wants to start, goes out of its way, to stress, that they are willing to act on positive themes, like the European Judeo-Christian Cultural Heritage, Ulfkotte nearly exclusively produces negative texts, intended to criminalize other "cultures", Jewish, Muslim or whatever he finds useful.

I think, that Olivier Roy is right, when he calls this way of doing "racist". For "race" was used, during Nazi times for instance, for anybody foreign, "volksfremd": For Slavic people, who are racially as white as any German, or for the French, who are even more Germanic than most Slaves, etc. Therefore, discrimination and hatemongering against any group, can well be called "racist", even if the target is not racially defined.

Log 14.12 [NL] België wordt Zwitsers

Ik wil nu eens positief zijn, deze dag. En er is best reden voor. Het initiatief van een grote groep vooraanstaande Vlamingen "Redt de Solidariteit", gelanceerd in september, verzamelde 100.000 handtekeningen. 60% Vlamingen, 40% Franstaligen, precies volgens het boekje. Die solidariteit betreft het federaal houden van de sociale zekerheid. Een halve eeuw lang, hebben alle Belgen meebetaald. Nu betekent dit een inkomensoverdracht van Vlaanderen naar Wallonië, maar vroeger was dat andersom. ook het Gewest Brussel int meer, dan het bijdraagt, maar dat wordt meer dan gecompenseerd door de belastinginkomsten uit Brussel, die aan de federale staat ten goede komen.

Kortom, het streven van de Vlaamse nationalisten, om de sociale zekerheid te "ontdubbelen", leidt op korte termijn tot grote problemen voor Wallonië, dat hard bezig is, om zich te ontworstelen aan de structurele crisis die wordt veroorzaakt door het wegsterven van zijn klassieke industrieën (staal, kolen, enz.). Een situatie, die ook bestaat (of bestond) in Nederlands Limburg bij het sluiten van de kolenmijnen en, op grotere schaal, in het Duitse Roergebied en in Noord-Frankrijk. Stel je eens voor, dat men in Duitsland zei: "Laten de Noordrijn-Westfalenaars maar zelf hun problemen opknappen, Beieren betaalt niet mee!" Dat zou betekenen, dat alle Europese landen via de EU zouden moeten inspringen. Ik geloof niet, dat men dat zou pikken in de Europese Raad...

Verstandige Belgen, en daar zijn er gelukkig nog heel veel van buiten de politieke elite die bezig is om het land zichzelf te laten verwaarlozen, nemen dus initiatieven: voorzichtige, zoals die van de vele Brusselaars die de nationale vlag aan hun balkon hangen, en meer gedurfde-, zoals dit. Het gaat dwars tegen de in Vlaanderen heersende redeneringen in. De opinievervuiling, zoals ingezet door het Vlaams Blok/Belang, doet haar werk. Een onafhankelijk Vlaanderen is een illusie. Zonder de inkomstenoverdrachten uit Brussel is het nergens. Weinig politici uit België's Noorden durven dat hardop uit te spreken.

Daarom doet een initiatief als dit, goed. En ik blijf bij mijn standpunt, dat de belgen echt wel zelf een opolossing zullen vinden voor de communautaire knoop. daar zijn ze meesters in. Ging het scenario met een Commissie van Wijzen voor een Staatshervorming niet door? Wel, dan hebben we nu minister-president Verhofstadt (liberaal), die de kibbelende partijen voor het blok zet. Er zit een soort Zwitserse federale oplossing aan te komen, waarbij de federale regering ontpolitiseerd wordt, en alle partijen in de diverse gewesten, naar evenredigheid van hun zeteltal, ministers gaan leveren voor een federale regering. Misschien een concessie aan de regionale die-hards, want het federale niveau wordt aldus verder verzwakt. Maar het is ook een aanpassing aan de realiteit. Want de belangrijkste sociale en economische instrumenten zijn al in handen van de gewesten. Federaal rest er buitenlandse politiek, defensie en veiligheid. En bemiddeling tussen gewesten. Over internationaal- en veiligheidsbeleid, bestaat overeenstemming tussen meerderheden in Noord en Zuid.

Blijft, zoals altijd, het probleem van Brussel: De stad is een van de belangrijkste internationale Belgische troeven. niemand schijnt zich sterk te willen of te kunnen maken, om die troeven uit te spelen. De Franstalige extremisten van het FDF, die in een kartel met de (franstalige) Liberalen zitten, stellen net zulke onmogelijke en provinciale eisen, als de Vlamingen van de vroegere Volksunie (het NVA), die met de Christendemocraten een kartel vormen en hen in een impossibilistische wurggreep houden. 

Soepel jonglerend met een voorlopig-, een interim-, of een verzwaard zaken-kabinet, nadert Verhofstadt een oplossing, die eruit gaat zien als een "asymmetrische"  federale regering: In Vlaanderen een "oranje-blauwe" (christendemocratisch-liberale) coalitie en in Wallonië een tweederde meerderheid waarvan liberalen en socialisten de kern moeten vormen. Politiek een wangedrocht. De Belgische economie (en de enorme staatsschuld) kan door zo een regering niet worden gestuurd. Voor Brussel betekent een verzwakte federale regering ook verder onheil. Maar het is beter om een regering te hebben, dan helemaal geen. Zo lossen we dat hier op.

Over "ruimte voor Brussel" een volgende keer. Laten we het deze keer nu eens positief houden...
