Wilders and Lieberman: Together we can put up a Genocide! 21/6 [EN]

When my Jewish Father in law, in the city of Amsterdam, Holland, was desperately looking for a place to hide and trying to escape the hands of German and Dutch Police, hunting Jews in 1941, 1942 and 1943, my frightened non-jewish family closed their doors to him. His mother, his father, his brother had been deported already. His was a struggle for mere life. And he never, never escaped the sense of guilt of the survivor. A man, broken by regrets about his sister, his brother and his parents. That is, how I have known him. He died after having written all about himself and his family. Peace be upon him.

Maybe, Geert Wilders' German father has been a hero. I hope so. But there were so few of them. Their children, when the parents had not been courageous, tried to compensate. In Israel, in Jerusalem, I met one German activist after another. Mostly girls and women. Their allegiance to Israël was complete. Hysterical, sometimes. They treated me as a traitor, when I talked about the necessary compromise with the Arabs. Wilders' attitude reminds me of them. I think he is a danger to peace.

Wilders exhibits Israeli Rights' real projects 21/6 [EN]

Recently, I had to explain twice to English and American friends, that the Neanderthal valley is not the cradle of the modern Netherlands. The ancient human branch called "Neanderthalians", who had probably no spoken language, were exterminated long ago, by ourselves, the "homines sapiens sapiens". At that moment in time, the Celtic and Germanic ancestors of modern Dutchmen, were even not yet immigrated into Western Europe. We are all immigrants!

Was it a genocide? was it an ethnic cleansing? Probably, their primitive and violent culture was considered a danger to the culture of the African-Asian immigrants of that era. Why do non-Dutch people think, that, maybe, people from the Netherlands are Neanderthalians, thirsty for revenge? We all feel a vague guilt about those poor humanoids, like we do about violently slaughtered cattle, bonobos, seals' puppies, lambs, Bosnian Muslims, Amerindians and pogrom victims. Otherwise, I cannot explain, why we even listen to people like Geert Wilders.

M. Wilders, élu néerlandais, prévoit un nettoyage ethnique de l'Europe: "Déportation de dizaines de millions de musulmans"! 18.6 [FR]

M. Geert Wilders, élu à la chambre des députés (assemblée nationale) des Pays-Bas, s'est exprimé, le 14 juin dernier, à la télévision danoise. Il s'est montré en faveur d'une nettoyage ethnique des musulmans en Europe. En outre, il a déclaré lors d'une conférence du parti xénophobe danois animé par Madame Pia Kjergaard, qu'il favorise deux États au Moyen-Orient, l'un israélien et l'autre palestinien, pourvu que le premier s'étende sur la Samarie et la Judée (donc tout le "Westbank") et que le dernier s'appelle "Jordanie". Une position que même l'actuel ministre israélien des Affaires Étrangères, Avigdor Lieberman, n'oserait pas exprimer. Wilders prévoit donc aussi une nettoyage ethnique des 4,5 millions de Palestiniens citoyens d'Israël ou habitants des "territoires" à l'Est de Jérusalem. Il n'a pas mentionné les 10 à 20% de Chrétiens arabes palestieniens d'entre eux. Wilders, qui a quitté l'Église catholique en 1999, pense-t-il que la supériorité de la culture judéo-chrétienne ne soit pas valable pour l'État juif et que les arabes ne soient pas capables d'être des bons chrétiens?

M. Wilders est l'objet de poursuites judiciaires pour "haatzaaien" (semer de la haine) de la part de la Cour de Justice de l'Arrondissement d'Amsterdam. En mars, le Gouvernement brittanique lui a interdit l'entrée au pays, invoquant le danger qu'il représente à l'ordre publique. Même les néoconservateurs américains l'ont considéré trop extrémiste (voir plus loin) pour être admis dans leur réseau.

Malheureusement, le phénomène Wilders ne relève plus de la folklore.

LOG 16.06: Wilders, Europe, Comments [EN]

My recent Wilders articles have been republished on "best of blogs" fora like Medium4You and Agoravox, and on social websites like Facebook. Coming right after some 5 months of virtual interruption of my internet publishing activities, this is of course a source of satisfaction for me.

But a disadvantage of "multi-publication" is, that commenters are going to react on different platforms. They do not see what others said on other platforms. It causes a fragmented dialogue. The English version of my denunciation of Wilders' ethnic cleansing statements in Copenhague was republished by myself in my new "At Home in Europe" blog with Euractiv, as it is clearly a pan-European issue. Agoravox reprinted it prominently, and it received some interesting comments, to which I replied. That permitted me to develop my motives and clarify my thinking about the issues at stake. The same is true for comments at Euractiv itself.
