Huibslog: Revival, Retour, Wiederbelebung, Wederopstanding

[NL] Wederopstanding

Meer dan 5 jaar stilte alhier. Activiteit op Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn en goodreads. Maar toch. Enkele posts op mijn De Lage Landen bij Wordpress. Nu weer actief hier: Persoonlijke beschouwingen. Politieke bij De Lage Landen en elders.

[FR] De Retour!

Ici communications personnelles. Les politiques sont ailleurs. Bonjour a mes amis belges, français et autres francophones!

[EN] "He is Back!"

More than 5 years I neglected my beloved 2004 SquareSpace corner in the Internet. Now i am back with you. Here personal posts. Elsewhere (FB, Twitter, linkedin) and at dll.huibs.net you'll see me agitate. C U1

BloggersBlock 2 (EN)

My (too) short presence at the annual Amsterdam Bloggersbal hasn’t passed unremarked. Professional Photographer Vincent Carmiggelt made a picture of me, twittering in a feauteuil. Blogger Friend #OudZeikWijf AKA @MrsVanP published it on Facebook. So far for a handkiss.

And a The Hague blogger and two friends made their annual evaluation of the Blogbal. They chose me as the ultimate LONELY BLOGGER:
But, alas, I may be alone often, but NOT lonely! Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype, etc keep me in contact with three daughters everywhere in the world. My grandchildren Maxim and Félice. Former and actual girlfriends and spouses. Look:
Waiting for the Frisian troubadour at the BlogBal, some twitterer catched my attention.
And I liked his performance. Very Much. Frisian people are super cool!

My new The Hague friends (discovered by friend Arnold of @Krapuul) are happy to have seen somebody like themselves. Me. Old man. But not dead yet. Not at all!

My (too) short presence at the 2016 Blogbal in Amsterdam at the Nieuwe Anita center near the Hugo de Groot Plein has not remained unrecorded.

Professional photographer Vincent Carmiggelt made a picture that my great friend #oudzeikwijf AKA @MrsVanP distributed on Facebook.

A the Hague male delegation with much experiance about BlogBals made pictures of me, calling me "The Lonesome Blogger" after the singer in this first picture:

BloggersBlock (EN)

A writers' block. You know what that is? Well, a bloggers block is nothing else.

My last blogpost dates from August, 2015.

I had an idea for writing, every day. But writing it down was too much.

Frustrating, no?

Last Friday night I went to the yearly 'BlogBal' in Amsterdam. Bloggers are mostly elder people nowadays. Like me. We bought drinks at a bar and drank them with cheese and sausage. A Frisian stand-up comedian amused us. And I went home. My youngest daughter Shana was expected at midnight, arriving from Brussels with her new Italian boyfriend at my humble home in the Drecht center in the deep South East of the city of Amsterdam.

At the entry of the Blogbal, I was very happy to find my name on a ready-to-wear tag. And one of my favoured blogsters, a lady who calls herself #oudzeikwijf kissed my hand. Traditionally it is the Man who kisses the lady's hand, but the change of kisser role struck me as an historical signal.

But, OK, I had to be the welcoming parent for the young lovers from Brussels who were to stay at my apartment unril Sunday. So I missed the late night "schuifel" moment at the Blogbal. Did I miss something of value? Did somebody else miss me?

I shall never know. But blogging will come back. Twitter is stupid. Facebook is a more civilised way of communication.

Who knows? Maybe I will be blogging again from here.
