Lebanon's right of self-defense

"Israel has a right to defend itself", said Bush, repeated Condi and was echoed by Blair and everybody else.
But what about Libanon's elected government's ("cedar revolution") right of self-defense against attacks on it's energy infrastructure, its (Christian!) television stations, etc.?
